An Act in Parts – Part II, 2013

Covering an Argos gazebo the work uses the language of a market stall, creating a tent like mausoleum of a miniature classical building.

An Act in Parts is a series of works undertaken in 2013 that utilises the same latex sheeting to create scenarios in different sites. The sheets have classical motifs across their surfaces and eyelets that allow them to be attached using rope to different structures. After each Part in the series the work is cut up and reassembled into different compositions, in response to the next site.
