‘Show’, RCA MA Sculpture Graduation, London, 2009

This sculptural installation utilised a corner of the open studio complex, where a pre-existing doorway allowed the work to have two entry points. The outer shell of the work was separated from the inner cardboard panels by a cavity that accentuated the facade of both layers. The work was part myth part memory, a homage to architecture as psychology, to Italo Calvino’s invisible city. the interior a place of contemplation and imagination.
